It is our privilege to once again have
Pastor Bruce Martin as our weekend M.C. This is Pastor Bruce’s third
year as M.C. and we truly enjoy the pastoral insight that he adds to
each session.
Bruce Martin is the Senior Pastor of
Calvary Temple in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Bruce and his wife, Miriam, have
been in pastoral ministry since graduation from Central Pentecostal
College, Saskatoon in 1975. They have three adult daughters away from
home and one 12 year old son, Drew, at home.
In June of 1997, following 22 years of
ministry in Western Ontario, Bruce and Miriam have been giving
leadership to Calvary Temple in Winnipeg, with the associated Radio
and Television outreach. Bruce is known as a person with a pastor’s
heart, having a love for people involved in the struggles of living
everyday life, with a strong emphasis on practical, biblical
preaching. |
Bruce continues to be involved in his
community, caring deeply about the citywide prayer ministry for
pastors in Winnipeg. He serves on the Board of Focus on the Family
Canada as well as the General Executive of the P.A.O.C.
In recent years, Bruce and Miriam have
traveled to Thailand, Africa and China. On two occasions Bruce has
been the guest speaker for the Assembly of God International
Missionary Retreats in Thailand. Together, they are actively involved
in giving leadership to a church where there is an ongoing challenge
to balance the traditions of the past, yet maintain a vision for the
future.
